</div>I use a Logitech remote. The OFF button runs a macro that turns the TV<br>
off and exits live TV, or whatever was playing, returning to the home<br>
screen.<br>

Works pretty well.<br>
<br></blockquote><div><br>I have to agree with Nicolas - a Harmony remote is your friend! It enables the kids - even the wife - to operate the HTPC and it makes sure everything is turned "off" afterwards:-)<br>
Either that, or you can hide the remote for a couple of days everytime they forget to leave live-tv:-)<br></div></div>
