Sorry, just re-read your post properly, it is always low from myth and only goes high from other sources. I have come across this, from memory it is the default mixer setting in the general settings on the frontend. There is an option for PCM or Master and when you change it you get that phenomenon of low volume. I can't remember which way it has to go but as soon as you change it you get the volume you'd expect. If I am not recalling it correctly and the PCM/Master mixer settings have no effect then it is another setting on that page and I am fairly certain it is one that only has 2 options. Experiment with the settings on the audio page of the general settings and see how you go. good luck, Glen
