I kind of understand what you are saying, the theme has the functionality built in. However I generally only download shows that aren't available on TV here AND I have only downloaded metadata for my movies so far SO it is specially downloading artwork for the recordings. I tried switching themes (because the mythcenter theme on my backend does not display recordings artwork) and found that all the themes capable of displaying artwork ARE displaying artwork for certain shows. Maybe Mythbuntu has JAMU(?) built in? Maybe this is a question for the theme creators. Maybe some themes have JAMU(?) built in? Maybe I just have to research JAMU myself ;-) It is just bizarre because as soon as I assigned artwork directories, the recordings artwork just began appearing. It seemed automatic to me :-S
