That card only requires ~50W for itself. Unless you have a rather high end machine (or an old Pentium 4), don't expect the rest of frontend hardware to pull more than 100W. If you're running a backend as well, tack on maybe 5-10W for each tuner, and 20-25W for hard drive spinup.<div class="im">

Check the individual rails on the supply. Ideally, it should be able to provide nearly all that power on the 12V lines. Recent hardware uses primarily 12V, and older supplies tend to lack 12V power.<br>
