<br>Hi, i am trying to use setup mythtv on Lenny Debian with HVR-1600 pci card.<br>Everything is setup correctly, when i start mythtvfront end, and select watch live tv,<br>mythtv seems to create a cache file at /tmp/<number blablb>.mpeg, while it is still loading,<br>
Unfortunately it displayed please wait forever, and the log is below. I look at the temp video<br>file and it seems to be about 10 seconds long when i view with vlc.<br><br>I think the problem is that mythtv tries to use directfb which i do not have the kernel driver for it.<br>
<br>I even try to recompile mythtv with the following option, --disable-directfb but mythtv still tries to <br>view livetv with directfb instead of xv or x11 video display driver.<br><br>I've been spending the last 8 hours doing this, please help.<br>
