Im sure its a setting in mythtv because I can access them with mplayer or anything else. No problems. Im hoping that <BR>
I dont have to move all my movies to one directory! My software raid file server would probably choke on is :-)<BR>

I've used a similar setup in the past; storing my video collection on a separate machine, and now it works similar, but it's on a RAID array in the same machine. I simply have mythvideo set to use "/store/Media/Video/" which then contains:

lol - Yes, I have a Segal directory. I like some of his movies.<BR>

You know, I have to say that since I started using linux many moons ago I have really taken off on it. In fact, I dont<BR>
even use windows anymore and I dont even allow it in the house (lol). Here is my setup in the house right now:<BR>

File server (dino) in basement - 1TB storage (used to be alot :-) ), Also performs as my firewall, DHCP server, Webserver.<BR>
2 Surfing boxes also in basement. <BR>
1 Mythtv box that I just rebuilt for the TV. Believe it or not I was running Fedora 7 on it up until a week ago. Finally <BR>
decided to rebuild it and it took a while to remember everything (lol). The darn thing just sat there and ran with<BR>
2 pvr150s stuck in it. Never really a problem until it started dropping frames to keep up with all the recording and <BR>
stuff.<BR>

Now I rebuilt and decided on a dual core AMD at 2.8 gigs, 4 gigs ram, Gigabyte nvidia 9400gt, Creative xtra whatever sound card (needed the optical out), 80 gig system drive and a 1 TB storage drive for shows. I realize its a bit over kill<BR>
but Im ready for future expansion.<BR>
