Don't worry about the swap, get rid of it if you have enough ram. I'm running a diskless client via NFS root without any swap and 2GB of ram. I also have /tmp and /var/tmp (for portage compiling) in a tmpfs and I never run out of ram. I usually only run mythfrontend; playing HD videos, music, pictures, dvd, and sometimes I run firefox. All on top of openbox which is super lightweight.<br>
<br>Point being, I've never had a problem without a swap partition. <br>
