HDMI audio output, so will that still work?</blockquote><div><br>I just selected /dev/dsp from the list of available sound drivers. First I selected the NULL driver however and noticed that the videostuttering disappeared and the CPU was much lower.<br>
<br>However in my search for possible stuttering causes I also found reports on the following:<br>- There was a report of stuttering when playing 60 Hzc720p HD MPEG4 via XvMC and a Nvidia 180 driver with a modeline that was slightly below 60 Hz. Increasing the frequency to slightly above fixed the problem.<br>
- There was a report of stuttering which disappeared by adding an option to xorg.conf. I do not remember exactly which option it was, but it was something regarding syncing on events.<br><br>Also you might look at the page <a href="http://mythtv.org/wiki/Troubleshooting:Prebuffering_pause">http://mythtv.org/wiki/Troubleshooting:Prebuffering_pause</a> (I have added my problem and my solution to that page)<br>
