I switched to mencoder and it is working fine, but menconder is kind of slower than ffmpeg used to be. I am still waiting for it to finish in order to compare the quality of transcoding.<br><br>JP<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

</div>The author does (that'd be me)... Probably the main reason people have<br>
been complaining about issues with ffmpeg is because I haven't upgraded<br>
to a newer version than the one I can get from rpmfusion.<br>

On the other hand, I only use mp4/h.264, not xvid, so I haven't noticed<br>
any issues with things. Have you tried other export formats?<br>
