</blockquote></div><br><br>I believe that is the case. But if you have an 8000 series card, why not use VDPAU? It's better than XVMC and is more stable than XVMC ever was for me. I think most currently available cards don't work well with XVMC. No good reason to bother with it, IMO, unless you already have hardware you don't want to replace.<br>
