<div>I checked this morning and only one copy is curtrently running. Did a reboot of the system, checked again, still one instance of mythbackend but the updated log file had the same "duplicate" entries.</div>

<div>I only have one machine named "MythTV" but I have a rather complex routing scheme setup where as 2 ips may resolve to that hostname depending on which router they are attached to. I'll have to double check network setup when I get home.</div>

<div>Or was there some other process connecting to the mythbackend server at this time?</div></blockquote>
<div> </div>
<div>I was connected to the mythweb interface from my laptop.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As my problem doesn't appear to be explicitly a hardware problem (I booted into windows and verified that the HD-PVR could still record with and without a power-cycle), and does not seem to be a software problem, it sounds like it could be a configuration problem. Would it make sense to backup my current mythtv databse, blow it away and start from scratch?</div>
<div> </div>
<div>As a side note, I also have a HVR-1800 hooked up which has had no problems recording from my QAM connection.</div>

<div>Thanks,</div>
