Another note, my myth box is always running 24/7 and when I attempt to play a recording first thing in the morning or at night after work after the box has been idle for a long period of time the gui appears sluggish and I tend to see the video no, audio yes issue. Or it could be coincidence, thought I would mention it. I emailed you a link directly to your email address with a file that exhibited this behavior.<br>

I wonder if this is caused by swapping? Linux tends to swap idle applications out to disk in favor of using RAM as disk cache. Do you see lots of disk activity on the drive containing your swap partition when this happens?<div>
