Hi Mike,
You are right! I made the faulty assumption that XMLTV has been
installed due to depency resolving of yum, but it is not.

Thanks again!
I compiled myhtv (svn version, updated today) following the procedure

In /usr/bin/ I placed the latest version of tv_grab_nl.
When I try to set up mythtv I get this error:
/XMLTVFindGrabbers: Failed to run tv_find_grabbers/.
And in the gui I am not able to select this grabber.
Is there anyone who understands why this grabber cannot be selected?

You need to install XMLTV, not just a single grabber script. XMLTV
includes programs, such as tv_find_grabbers, which tells Myth what
grabbers are available on the system.
