I've run into more than one DVD that would simply stop unless I<br>
manually went to the first chapter as you described. I always figured<br>
it was related to all the God-awful copy protection (read<br>
intentionally broken products) that a growing number of companies are<br>
pushing off on consumers.<br>

I also found I needed to have it launch xine from a shell window to deal with some focus issues.<br>
