I have my Xbox, a XBOX to USB cable and a memory stick the Xbox<br>

</blockquote></div><br>I think you need to do a little more research. The X in Xubuntu is for Xfce (a desktop environment) and the X in Xebian is for Xbox. Xebian is a distribution that was designed to run on the xbox hardware. It uses an older kernel that supports the filesystem that the xbox uses, and it is striped down to run better on the limited hardware the Xbox has. Search the list archives for links to Xebian E images that have mythtv already installed. That is the easiest way to get up and running with myth on an xbox. It looks like you are going to do a soft-mod. This list isn't the place to get help on modding your xbox. You should check out the tutorials or forums at <a href="http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox-tutorials.php">http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox-tutorials.php</a> or some other xbox hacking community. <br>
<br>As others have said on this list and I agree, running linux and mythfrontend on an xbox is barely passable as an SD frontend. It takes a long time to boot, and the menus, etc, repsond slowly. Although it isn't a full frontend you can watch mythtv recordings in XBMC and it is much easier to setup and much more responsive than a full linux distro will be on xbox hardware.<br>
