What do other users of this system do with S/PDIF? Is there a way
to modify the box to get S\PDIF out to the back or at least to plug it in
without leaving the front cover open?<br>

This box is perfect in all other ways and I am having trouble finding anything
else the meets my requirement:<br>
SVideo, DVI, L+R, S\PDIF, and the usual KVM+USB<br>

connection on the front. I had the system behind my tv thou with a streamzap ir
receiver coming out from to accept signals. With the machine hidden it didn’t
matter to me that the optical was in the front.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

color:#1F497D'>I moved to an AppleTV due to wanting to eliminate fan noise, I
got married and she had issues with it.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

color:#1F497D'>DVD playback then moved to my 360 which is fine, and we also
have a STB for the channels Myth can’t get right now. This may change in
the future once the HD-PVR drivers are finished, if the AppleTV can handle the
recordings made by the HD-PVR, or at least the transcoded videos.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
