I did come across those but when costing out my build, but I was trying to create a cheap stable enclosure setup so I could spend the majority of my $$ on the drives themselves.&nbsp; I have really been happy with my setup.&nbsp; The system was up for over 130 Days until I upgraded to .21, and I even had a drive fail that I was able to hot swap the replacement and rebuild the array without any downtime!<br>

pretty well supported by recent kernels, although I&#39;m not sure how<br>
well they&#39;re supported by non-SiliconImage chipsets. &nbsp;Does anyone have<br>
an opinion on those?<br>
