playback is horrible when other root programs are being run, no matter what the

bad one, but run mythfrontend as root. That's the only way i could get it to

a database access denied error when you initially install mythbuntu without a
mythweb password, then later decide to add a password. This happens because the
/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/mythweb.conf file changes it's mythtv database
password each time you enable or disable the password in the control center.
Different passwords too.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
