I can cover nearly all available channels with 1 xmltv source but for

would happen if I ran mythfilldatabase manually (--file) twice for the

Not sure why you're doing this. You should set up 2 video sources. 1
with your Digital channels and 1 with your analog channels. Assign your
digital source to your DVB-T and your analog sources to your PVR-150
cards. If two of your sources are coming from a single STB, assign them
to the same input group so Myth knows it cannot use them at the same time.

As channels are unique to each file would this work, or would
mythfilldatabase delete all the programs loaded from the first file

I've setup the common channels on dvb-t and analog to have the same
callsigns & ids so I don't get duplicates in the guide.

You should have duplicates on the guide so you know when you're looking
at a digital channel and when you're looking at an analog channel.

Thanks Brad,
I realise that I'm still stuck in the old TV 'zapping' mode and that
mythtv requires a concept change in my head....

I'll continue with my script to produce the 'digital' and 'analog'
sources from my 2 xmltv sources
