So I copied over the mythzmserver (/usr/bin/mythzmserver) from my mythtv machine over to the zoneminder machine, but when I try to start the service, I get "mythzmserver: unrecognized service". BTW, I get this on my mythtv machine as well, which seems odd.</font></div>

<div>How are you starting mythzmserver on the zoneminder box? Just copying an executable doesn't make a service for the service command. You need to have a script in the /etc/init.d folder to use it as a service. Try just running it from the command-prompt.</div>
