Please apt-get upgrade your Ubuntu/Mythbuntu MythTV packages. Mario fixed an compile optimization issue and now performance should be back to normal or even improved a bit. Trunk "weekly build" was updated yesterday.<br>

</div></div>Perhaps. I was running SVN and Fedora 8 X64. May audio/video related<br>
drops and high load. So much that I had to go back to the old stable<br>
rpm version. ( which works perfectly BTW )<br>
Something is wrong in the SVN with Internal player and sound/video high<br>
load. Just my opinion. Supported by many reports of issues here in the<br>
forum.<br>
