The BE-2xxx series is a big improvement over the earlier Athlon X2 processors. Mine run quiet and cool. I'm really pleased with the results.<br><br>Take a look at <a href="http://images.tomshardware.com/2008/01/29/processor_efficiency_compared/image014-big.png">the graph in the article</a> and compare power consumption of the BE-2400 (blue) vs. the X2 4600+ (yellow). There is a huge improvement.<br>
