 Actually that is VERY dependant on your local cable operator, if you

have firewire out of your settop box, and if they try to block it. Some block

everything, some (like mine) block nothing. Unfortunately with the ability to

block it in their hands you are at their mercy.

I never knew you could connect an STB with firewire to a mythtv box.

Anyone tried this in Canada? Specifically with Videotron.<br>
