Several users have complained of database corruption which appears to be caused by some race condition when loading the database the first time.<br><br>Purge the mythtv-database and mysql-server-5.0 packages and reinstall them.

I did not manage to get mythtv working with mysql5 (ubuntu 7.04).<br>I was getting errors concerning mythconverg database. Looking at it<br>closely, it was almost empty, only about 4 tables!!<br><br>I had to install mysql4, and that was it!
