I was not implicitely referring to the streaming as such, but the graphical stuff when playing e.g. a shoutcast stream (not clear in my first message). The mythstream interface displays some sort of realtime volume meters as the music is being played. Check the xorg CPU load when you watch e.g. liveTV, do the same when you use mythstream to play shoutcast stream. You will see what I mean.
