I am very interested in configuring and using MythPhone to talk to
another SIP-based video phone. Both of my in-laws are deaf, and they
use a Sorenson VP-200 (<a href="http://www.sorensonvrs.com/" class="bb-url">http://www.sorensonvrs.com</a>)
to communicate with my wife and me. Right now, my wife and I use a
D-Link DVC-1000 video phone to communicate with them. But the picture
quality is pretty bad and somehow the link only makes it up to 10Mbps,
so we're only able to send 15fps, instead of the usual 25-30fps. I
would be calling them based on their public IP Address. Before I go
banging my head into a concrete wall, just want to check to see if this
is even possible. I have a Logitech webcam that I will be hooking up to
my mythbox and configuring it in KDE. I am using Mythdora 3.2. Thanks for any help that you can
give!
