<br>didn&#39;t recognise the file system, I thought I was in trouble.<br></blockquote></div><br>I sympathise. You&#39;ll probably be fine with ext3 - drive performance is not usually an issue with MythTV, except for the deletion issue (which is solved by the slow delete feature). Unless you record more than a couple of things simultaneously ext3 should be easily up to the job.
