I re-installed with openSuSE 10.2 and got myth installed and working, but I still have some problems. I have video, but I don't have audio. my sound card works with other tv programs, but not myth. currently I am running an ensoniq

I misinterpreted the docs to mean that if I was only planning on using myth on one box I didn't need SQL. when I tried to install the mysql rpms that are on my distro cd (after I had already compliled myth) I get errors stating that package install failed. I'm hoping that by removing myth I'll be able to install the sql rpms successfully. if not, I guess I'll be posting again. Thanks for the help.
