I wasn't sure what to set tvformat to in the channel table, but currently I am using SECAM for ABC and CBS and <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(170, 170, 255);">ATSC</b> for FOX. Is that what I should be using? I can record by pressing r while watching an HD program. Although sometimes even just changing channel to one of the HD channels make firewire die.

<font color="black" face="Verdana,Arial,Helvetica" size="2">I then have to get the channel back to non-HD and re-run the firewire priming script. When trying to record a pre-scheduled show, the failed recording shows up in mythweb, but the file size is "B". I don't understand it since when watching live TV, the program is being recorded. Why can't I record something using the schedule?
