I had a chance to play back on the myth box with mplayer last night - recordings played just as well with mplayer on the myth box as they do with media player classic on windows. So it has to be something with the mythtv recording playback that is loosing the sound - any suggestions on settings to play with?

I haven't watched much TV lately but last night I was watching some hidef shows and noticed that about three times during an hour long show I would loose the sound for about 2-3 seconds then it would come back fine. Other than that everything worked perfectly. I am running the SVN from about 1 week ago.
