Live TV I'm not 100% certain for News etc. but IIRC IT works<BR>perfectly for
pretyped subtitles, and recordings have the subtitles <BR>saved with

<DIV><BR>Yes - it works with LiveTV too, but with a bit of a time delay (the
same speed as a standalone Freeview box would receive them!). Actually, I've
sometimes wondered if it would be possible to add code to mythtv to make it view
the video/audio about 10 seconds out so the live subtitles could be brought into
sync. (So rather than having an adjustable delay between audio and video, there
would be an adjustable delay between the video and subtitle streams).
<BR><BR>The one problem I can think of though is if you transcode your
recordings (even lossless transcode), the subtitle stream will be lost with
MythTV 0.20. I think this might have been changed in SVN though - but I'm not
