I hope that someone here can help me determine what I am doing wrong.<br><br>If from MythTV I try to either watch a channel above 13 live or record<br>a channel above 13, then all I get is static (2-13 works perfectly.)<br>
If I change the channel using ivtvtune and record the channel via cat<br>/dev/videoX > test.mpg I can actually record channels above 13 fine.<br><br>System:<br>Intel P4 3.0Ghz<br>ATI 9800 AIW<br>Hauppage PVR-500<br>Ubuntu
6.10 (Edgy)<br>MythTV Version (0.20.20060828) - Installed via ubuntu packages.</blockquote><div><br>You've most likely set the wrong channel frequency table -- you probably want "us-cable" or something similar, rather than "us-bcast". You can change this in mythtv-setup.
