Is it possible to have a master backend without a capture card and only install my 350 card on a slave front-end. My master backend is pretty powerful, but too big and bulky, so I have a smaller profile computer attached to my TV as just a front-end with the card. however, I cant seem to configure it to work with the master backend.
<br><br>Anyone ever try to configure it this way?<br></blockquote></div><br>You need a backend to have a capture card so install a slave backend on your frontend computer as well. Do not install the database on the slave. Run myth-setup and set the ipaddress of the master backend and slave backend.
