Kevin<br><br>Ran the mysql queries again...still no dice. <br><br>When I run mythfrontend from a terminal window it connects to the database fine. Then when I pick Watch TV is says changing from none to Live TV, it tries to play the file 12 times, then it fails and says file not found /video/fffff.nuv And its failing because that directory is not writable since I am using the Mythdora Live CD from the

<br>frontend isn't connecting to the right database. Verify your mysql.txt<br>information, etc. When your connectivity (both database and backend) is<br>right both frontends will behave the same in this respect.<br><br>
