You are probaby using the 30-second jump function and not the commercial skip function.<br><br>With a keyboard, the commercial skip function is mapped to the Z key. In my experience the tagging works quite well. (see <a href="http://www.mythpvr.com/mythtv/commercial_flagging">
http://www.mythpvr.com/mythtv/commercial_flagging</a> for more on my experience with it.) If you are using a remote, you may need to look it up in your lirc button mappings to see which is the correct button.<br><br>I use it constantly now.

There's function that I think is called "skip to next cut point". In a<br>commercial flagged recording, this skips to the beginning of the next<br>commercial. Even with auto-commercial-skip turned on, this point seems to
