Ok, I might be a bit OT, but I'm using gmail to view the mailing list.

Sure you have to subscribe etc, but when you create a label for anything with mythtv-users in the TO it's a nice neat little way to view a whole conversation on movable tabs etc.

But I could just be in my own silly little world. :)

At nabble! Okay, I just went and looked what nabble was as I had no
idea. From the looks of things it is another mail archiver, like
gossammer, but you are doing some stuff to make conversations better I
imagine. Okay!

> So, my understanding is that you would still prefer an auto-quote despite
> its potential downside, right? Nabble is user driven, so your opinions
> matter a lot. If you feel like to discuss more, feel free to post to the
> support forum on Nabble.

I don't see much point for Nabble, but if people want to use it, it is
up to them. For me, I have learned (and it wasn't hard) to quote
people correctly. This means, I don't top-post, and simply delete all
the inappropriate lines. I admit now and again I do post a quick
reply and top post, leaving all the cruft in there, but most of the
time I try and keep neat. That's all we have to do.

Anyways, this is getting OT from the original post IMHO.
