<P >1. Download 7676 drivers from <FONT class="" ><FONT class="">nvidia.com</FONT> (<A href="http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-7676.html" >http://www.<FONT class="">nvidia.com</FONT>/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-7676.html</A>)</FONT></P>
<P >2. Follow the directions on the above page to install. this method is "almost" as easy as the yum install. It really boils down to running the "<FONT class="" >sh</FONT> NVIDIA-Linux-<FONT class="" >x86</FONT>-1.0-7676-pkg1.run" command and following the prompts.</P>
<P >3. Once that is done, modify your <FONT class="" >xorg.conf</FONT> file per J<FONT class="" >arods</FONT> instructions for <FONT class="" >nvidia</FONT> cards (most of what <FONT class="" >J<FONT class="" >arod</FONT></FONT> <FONT class="" >recommends</FONT> is also included in the README file, buy if you are going to read all of the README, make sure you have a defibrillator nearby because it will make you comatose),</P>
<P >4. Restart <FONT class="" >X</FONT> ( i always have to reboot to get the new settings to take, but like i said, I <FONT class="" >B</FONT> Linux NuB). </P>
<P >5. I found that adding the line </P>
<P > <Option "<FONT class="" >ConnectedMonitor</FONT>" "TV"> </P>
<P > would pipe to the <FONT class="" >svideo</FONT> port. otherwise it only sends video to the <FONT class="" >VGA </FONT>port. </P>
<P >I tried <FONT class="" >the syntax</FONT></P>
<P ><FONT class="" > <Option "<FONT class="" >ConnectedMonitor</FONT>" "<FONT class="" >CRT</FONT>,TV"> </FONT></P>
<P ><FONT class="" > but that puked <FONT class="" ><FONT class="" >X</FONT>, so i am still fiddling with an <FONT class="" >xorg.conf</FONT> file that clones the display to the TV <FONT class="" >simultaneously</FONT>.</FONT></FONT></P>
<P > </P>
<P >i can also send you a copy of my <FONT class="" >xorg.conf</FONT> file tonight when i get home if necessary.</P>
