I am having the exact same problem. I thought that it was just the crappy audio of the recording but after hearing it from other people I noticed that I could make it louder by going in to the controls for my volume inside of Ubuntu but it was still pretty bad quality. Is this happening to everyone or just a few of us using a pvr250 and a pvr500.
