<br>It sounds like your remote is working but you're missing an lircrc file for mythtv, or it's configured improperly. I can't send you one right now because I'm at work, but that might point you in the right direction.<br>
You should stop the remote from controlling the cursor, it'll make strange and annoying things happen in the background. To do this, comment out the following line in<span class="postbody"> the file /etc/X11/XF86Config-4-xbox
