trying to get my Dvico Fusion 5 Gold working under FC4 2.6.14 with analog and
QAM256 unencrypted digital cable. I have verified the card works in
Windows, and using command line utilities like dvbstream and tvtime. My
cable company, Cox Communications in <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Phoenix</st1:place></st1:City>,
does not seem to broadcast any PSIP info, so I expect some manual configuration
will be necessary.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I am
assuming it is a channel setup issue, but I have tried doing full scans,
individual transport scans, and manually editing the mythconverg
database. The frontend times out after 15 seconds when both analog and
digital channels are set as the start channel.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I have
data in the dtv_multiplex, channel, and videosource tables. I don't have
data in the dvb_channel or dvb_pids tables. Is that a show stopper, even
for analog? I have found a few "how-tos" on adding digital
channels that aren't scanned, but that is not my entire problem. I don't
seem to be able to tune and display anything. I am using us-cable for my
frequency table, but I have doubts that it has the correct frequencies.
But I have tried to manually set those in the database, too.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
