I agree I would GUESS that max-episode expire behaves the same way -- I
was curious if anyone knew for sure.<br>

There used to be a GUI option that said "auto-expired programs may be
re-recorded". I don't know what happened to it. But I imagine
max-episode auto-expire would follow the same behavior as disk-space
auto-expire ...
