<P><FONT SIZE=2>I have a PVR 350 with the grey remote. I use Gentoo Linux with kernel version 2.4.20-gentoo-r6.</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>I downloaded lirc-0.7.0pre2 and compiled/installed the driver after running ./setup.sh, selecting </FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>the Hauppauge TV card. I modprobe lirc_i2c and run lircd. I run irw and the remote seems to be</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>functioning properly. I installed Myth 0.12 and compiled/installed it with native lirc enabled</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>(modifying the settings.pro file). I copied hauppauge-lircrc-nativelirc to ~/.mythtv/lircrc. I</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>ran ./setup for the myth backend and it responded when I used the remote to navigate. However, </FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>when I run mythfrontend, it does not respond to the remote. Any ideas as to why the frontend won't</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>respond to the remote, yet the backend setup will? I am a newbee when it comes to linux so please</FONT>

<BR><FONT SIZE=2>keep that in mind when answering.</FONT>
