[mythtv-users] 0.21 ignoring mpeg4 channels

I know that 0.19 does not recognize the MPEG4 (H.264) channels in Denmark
either. But 0.21 and 0.22 have no problems finding them and recording them
here. However 0.21 can not play the sound (HE-AAC encoded if I remember
correctly).
So I guess it is not the fact that they are MPEG4, but something else that
causes your problems.

Actually I initially had problems with the MPEG4 channels because they were
sent on a frequency that was previously used for other channels, that I
still had in my database, so MythTV just skipped them. Could that be the
cause? Actually I also experienced it with swedish MPEG2 channels. Instead
of finding the channels from Hörby or Malmö, it found the same channels
fromn Jönköbing that could only be received very badly in Copenhagen.
You could try wiping out all channels and multiplexes from your database or
try on a newly installed database and see if that helps. Or if you are good
at SQL you could wipe out all multiplexes no longer in use.

BTW which channels are new?
