[mythtv-users] Master Backend w/o capture cards? WOL from FE/master BE

Hello

Looking through the list and google'ing I found some comments around that the
master BE needs a capture card.

I was wondering what's the reason for this and if I could run a master BE
without capture card which will use WOL to wakeup slave BE with the tuners
when they are required.

Also if there is a request from a frontend to play live TV from a capture
card that's currently not avail due to the slave BE being down, will the FE
or the master BE try to wake the box?
