I can find my primary backend but get the "Failed" to connect error on my Sony BDP-S470.<br><br>Sorry for coming late to this, but if there is a patch that would allow me to test compatibility with this device, I would thoroughly enjoy doing so.<br>

If you have an existing cutlist for that video, have you have a cut endpoint that is out beyond the extents of the video, you will experience such unexpected behavior. Run 'mythcommflag --getcutlist' and see if there are any cuts out beyond the reasonable frame limits of the recording (55k/30min for interlaced, 110k/30min for progressive).<br>

Did you receive the patch I sent back to you (based on one you sent to<br>
me and your advice)? It was certainly an improvement on unpatched, and<br>
allowed me to play recordings.<br>
