I would do some testing with irw..
Try running irw, pushing the bad buttons and see what the output is,
then match it up to the lircrc file, then match that up with the
settings in myth.. You should be able to figure out what's going on..

I have most certainly done that and the number buttons come up as numbers through irw but do something completely different from the keyboard numbers.<BR>
The .lircrc file has the correct mappings as well -- numbers to numbers:<BR>
