<FONT COLOR="#000000">My hardware is a Hauppauge Nexus-S card with a Dual CI interface. I'm</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">using a cam and the official smartcard.</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I cannot watch encrypted DVB-S channels using mythtv. As a sanity check</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I verified that my hardware is ok using WinXP and the</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">hauppauge/technotrend TV viewer.</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I can also watch encrypted channels using Kaffeine. Additionally I</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">installed "vdr" and also with this program I can watch my encrypted</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">programs.</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">So in this case it is only Mythtv which is giving me a problem watching</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">encrypted DVB-S channels. (but I like to use mythtv :) )</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I verified that the ServiceId in mythconverge equals the official Pid.</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I removed the capture card and all associated channels from the mythtv</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">setup, then added the card. Imported then only about 10 channels, of</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">which two were FTA, from a channels.conf created with 'scan -a'.</FONT>
<FONT COLOR="#000000">I can watch the two FTA's but none of the encrypted.</FONT>
