a blank database), too.
ScanTypeSetting::refresh() is bailing out with "Failed to open the
card". The Video Source and Capture Card drop-downs are both empty, so
the Scan Type can't be populated.
Reverting to 11721, I was able to do a full scan without issues.

I use a Hauppauge Nova-T (Conexant chipset), and I came across the same
problem with 11747 and later (up to at least 11764). Reverting to 11746
fixed the problem.<br>
