I'm getting the same issues as well, I think the issue is properly
documented on in ticket 3690.

Hopefully the devs will be able to solve the issue and commit a fix
soon - I'm happy to provide info to help out.

I've tried some of the recommended solutions that people said that
worked for them since the ffmpeg sync, but no dice.
